Welcome to a stress-free and enjoyable photography experience!
My sessions are relaxed and engaging, capturing genuine moments and authentic connections. I draw inspiration from your personality and surroundings to create meaningful, natural images that tell your unique story.
STYLE
My photography style is candid, natural, and editorial when working with families and at events. I focus on storytelling through genuine emotion, real connections, and unscripted moments, aiming to capture the essence of each interaction in an honest and timeless way.
For branding sessions, my approach is more structured and intentional. A branding photoshoot is a planned and strategic process designed to create a cohesive image library that reflects your business, personality, and values. Together, we will highlight the people, products, and visual identity behind your brand in a way that feels authentic and professional.
BEFORE THE SESSION
Your session will include a pre-session consultation regarding the location, props, and outfits. I will share a visual guide for the photoshoot and would love to hear your expectations for the session.
Your session will be at the location of your choice—your home, outdoors, or in the studio. Travel time charges may apply depending on the location of the shoot.
At this point, a contract will be signed, and a 50% non-refundable deposit will be due to secure your spot.
AFTER THE SESSION
After your session, you'll receive access to a private gallery featuring the best photos from the shoot. Here, you can select the images you wish to download. The number of images available will depend on your chosen package. Additionally, you will have the option to purchase extra images, prints, or even order a custom Photo Book.
The remaining 50% balance is due two weeks after the photoshoot, at which time the photos will be ready for download/print once payment has been received in full.
LOCATION
When the weather is favourable, you can choose a photoshoot at a nearby park or beach, making the most of natural light for stunning results. Alternatively, you can opt for a local photo studio or the comfort of your home. If you prefer a studio setting, please note that a studio rental fee will apply. I can recommend trusted local studios that I frequently collaborate with. For locations outside the Burlington-Hamilton area, a travel fee of $50 per half-hour drive applies.
TIME
For optimal lighting, on-location sessions are typically scheduled in the morning or late afternoon, around sunset. During indoors sessions (including studio, home, or working environment), professional lighting ensures consistently excellent results regardless of time or weather.
CLOTHING
Choosing the right clothing is crucial for a successful photo shoot. Just like the location, your wardrobe plays a significant role in setting the tone of your images. Simplicity is key, and less is more. Classic, timeless outfits in pastel colours work beautifully. Avoid busy patterns, sparkling accessories, logos, and character clothing, as these can be distracting in photos. Thoughtful wardrobe choices can make a significant difference in the quality and feel of your images.
